 Dr. Jay Trambadia is a seasoned psychologist, consultant, and speaker, with extensive experience in providing strategic guidance and support to individuals, teams, and organizations. With a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and specialized training in organizational behavior, Dr. Trambadia combines his deep understanding of human behavior with practical insights to help clients achieve their professional and personal goals.

Throughout his career, Dr. Trambadia has worked with a diverse range of clients, including large companies, non-profit organizations, comprehensive healthcare centers,  professional sports leagues, and government agencies. He has a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions tailored to each client's unique needs, whether it's enhancing leadership effectiveness, improving team dynamics, or managing workplace stress.  Due to his time in large healthcare systems, Dr. Trambadia provides interventions such as crisis management, motivation to change, and organizational interventions, such as team building, motivational techniques, and performance strategies.  

Clinically, Dr. Trambadia practices as a Health Psychologist at WellStar Health Systems in Atlanta, Georgia. He specializes in facilitating lifestyle changes, including diet, exercise, sleep, pain, substance use, tobacco cessation, and other biopsychosocial concerns. His expertise includes biopsychosocial evaluations, consultation, teaching, and program development.

In addition to his consulting work, Dr. Trambadia is a sought-after speaker and facilitator, delivering engaging workshops and presentations on topics such as workplace anxiety, resilience, happiness, well-being, and organizational change. He is passionate about sharing his expertise and empowering others to thrive in their personal and professional lives.

Education

 

Dr. Trambadia is a proud alumnus of The University of Georgia, where he received his B.S. in Psychology, and minor in Spanish. He then attended graduate school at Nova Southeastern University in sunny South Florida. After graduating with a Doctorate of Psychology at Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Trambadia completed a fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, where he focused on the biopsychosocial aspects of health including, anxiety reduction, pain management, substance use concerns, palliative care, and biofeedback. At Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Trambadia focused on clinical care, research, teaching, consulting, and supervision aspects of Clinical Psychology.

 

Background

 

Dr. Trambadia is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and has spent most of his life all over the Southeast. He is passionate about community and paying it forward. Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Trambadia enjoys spending time with his young children, coaching high school football, cooking with his daughter, and organizing fundraisers for the National Football League Alumni Association (NFLAA) charities. He holds a deep appreciation on how food, culture, and geographic location hold a unique bond throughout history, and enjoys exploring those cuisines with the locals who create them.  Overall, Dr. Trambadia enjoys being around people and connecting with others to enhance individual health, and societal well-being.
